Disney World is AMAZING at decorating Christmas trees!

Disney World’s Christmas trees are nothing short of marvelous, and they never fail to impress year after year! But this year, it looks like Disney World has some major competition in tree decorating, and you won’t be able to find it in the parks!

This spectacular 50th Anniversary inspired Christmas tree is the work of former Cast Member, Alfredo Majuri Vargas! All of the pieces are handmade, and the result is absolutely stunning! Alfredo was a performer and scenic painter at Disney World and you can see he is making the most of his artistic talents!

The castle turrets are amazing, and look just like the ones that were installed for the 50th! It even has fireworks above it! The nighttime look is also absolutely beautiful!

Everything on his trees is completely hand-made. He sketches everything out and then cuts, glues, and manufactures all the pieces he needs. (Can’t really walk into Target looking for giant Disney World Castle turrets for a tree!) The tree is also covered in custom glass ornaments featuring memorable photos of Alfredo’s time working at Walt Disney World.

But this isn’t his first foray into the world of tree-based art. On his Instagram, Alfredo shows off his gorgeous hand-painted ornaments featuring Disney characters as well as OTHER trees he’s made including this stunning Snow White queen tree…

…that flips to reveal (what else?) the EVIL HAG! Ah, it’s just like the nightmares we still have from the long-gone Snow White’s Scary Adventures in Magic Kingdom (IYKYK!).

And we have to mention this absolute jaw-dropping Moana-themed tree complete with MAD Te Fiti on one side…

…and a GORGEOUS hand-made much calmer green Te Fiti on the other side. The craftsmanship here is mind-blowing. On his Instagram page, Alfredo shares his process for some of the components of his trees, like this Te Fiti head, so you can see how he crafted them.

The attention to detail on this tree is breathtaking! Alfredo told us he often starts his trees in the Spring and has multiple designs going at once. What an amazing artist and such a fun medium!
