Today marks the 120th birthday of Walt Disney!

There are plenty of ways to celebrate Walt’s birthday, from nomming on his favorite foods to checking out an underrated Disney World spot dedicated to his vision. And now, we’ve got one more exciting activity to add to the list!

If you’ve visited EPCOT within the past few years, you’ve likely noticed plenty of changes and construction happening as part of the major EPCOT transformation that’s in the works.

And when we say MAJOR, we mean it! The park is receiving a huge overhaul to reorganize it into four distinct “neighborhoods.” As part of the transformation, EPCOT will receive new attractions, restaurants, and more! We’ve already seen many of the new additions make their debut, but there are still some that we’re waiting on.

One new feature that’s still in the works is a brand new statue of Walt Disney coming to Dreamers Point, located near the exit of Spaceship Earth. The statue will celebrate Walt’s dedication to looking forward towards the future.
