The annual holiday overlay for “it’s a small world” is a time-honored tradition that, alongside Haunted Mansion Holiday, helps ring in the holidays at Disneyland!

Every year, we eagerly await this overlay but not too long ago, the attraction flooded, closing the ride! However, we’ve got some good news recently.

In a recent TikTok (you know, that app your kids are probably obsessed with), Disney shared a first-person look at the inside of “it’s a small world” Holiday at Disneyland, which recently reopened!

The Disney parks team worked day and night to repair “it’s a small world.” After more than 20 Disneyland teams worked to drain, dehumidify, and repair the flooded sections of the ride, the attraction was able to reopen with its holiday overlay intact.
