Welcome to EPCOT! This park has gone through some pretty massive changes this year, including the expanded France Pavilion with Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and La Crêperie de Paris as well as Future World being broken up into three new neighborhoods!

While big changes are still in the works, including the grand opening of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, there are new things happening on a daily basis, too! Today, we’re checking out what’s new at EPCOT — let’s dive right in!
EPCOT General Updates
We hopped on the Monorail to head into EPCOT, and from up above, you can get a pretty good look at how the construction is coming along in the front half of the park! Those construction walls have been up for some time now, and by all accounts…
Current construction progress in EPCOT
…the park still looks like a pile of dirt.
That’s a lot of dirt.
There appears to be some structural progress happening in one area, but completion of this area still seems to be some time away.

We also passed by the future home of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind as we made our way through EPCOT, and we noticed a new coat of paint on one side of the show building!

The update may be minor, but it means we’re one step closer to its summer 2022 opening!
We can’t wait to hop on!
Over in World Showcase, we noticed a new Dragon set piece in place for New Year’s Eve in the China Pavilion.
Woah!
Both EPCOT and Magic Kingdom are set to include fireworks as part of their New Year’s celebrations, so the party will certainly last all night long!
Looks like the China Pavilion is the place to be on New Year’s Eve!

Mexico Pavilion
In the Mexico Pavilion, we found some adorable shoulder plush!
