After a TWO-year hiatus, the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is officially set to return to the parks from January 5th to 9th, 2022!

This year, the race weekend is themed after Disney World’s 50th Anniversary and runners will be racing their way through the parks to earn medals featuring their favorite characters dressed in their EARidescent-best! And, what would running a 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, or Marathon be worth if you didn’t have something to show off all your hard work, right? Well, get ready because runDisney has shared a sneak peek at some of the merchandise you’ll be able to purchase at the expo!

If you’ve ever participated in a runDisney race weekend, then you probably know that you can usually find A LOT of specialty merchandise when you’re shopping around the expo at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. And, this year will be no different! Runners will once again be able to pick up the famous “I Did It!” shirts for each race distance, and there will even be a brand new runDisney Spirit Jersey that features Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy running across the back in their 50th-anniversary outfits.

Prefer something that will remind you of the entire weekend and not just an individual race? Well, it looks like there will also be Marathon Weekend tank tops, long-sleeve shirts, jackets, and hats to choose from!

And, there are even a few accessories and items that you’ll likely use over and over again in the collection including a Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend MagicBand and mug…

…plus an ornament and the popular runDisney car magnets for each race distance.

These items will be available at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports during the runDisney Expo which is set to open on January 5th from 10AM to 8PM, January 6th from 12PM to 6PM, January 7th from 10AM to 7PM, and January 8th from 11AM to 3PM. Just keep in mind that many of these items often sell out over the course of the race weekend, so planning to stop by sooner than later will give you a better chance at securing all the merchandise that you want!
