Quiet on set; we’re ready to roll! We came down to Universal Studios Hollywood to say goodbye to the holiday decorations before the season ends on January 9, 2022, and we want you to come along with us.
It has been a while since we checked in on our favorite dragon at Universal. Still looking as good as ever.
There’s finally some progress at Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen in CityWalk. After months of being abandoned to rot, walls have finally gone up. We will keep an eye on this project as it develops.
King Kong is still sporting his festive best.
All these holiday decorations will be coming down on Monday and although we’re sad to see them go, it feels like time to say goodbye until November.
We will miss The Grinch however. His antics are always welcome.
In the Universal Studios Store on the Upper Lot, we found a cool Jurassic Park Loungefly Funko Pop! backpack. That’s a lot of descriptors and a lot of IPs coming together for one super cool bag.
The Jurassic Park zipper pull is a nice touch.
All of the holiday merchandise, including the Grinch merchandise, is now 30% off. These glasses that just debuted must have been held up in the shipping delays, but that just means they’re debuting to sale price.
There are still plenty of the 2022 Limited Edition wands available at the Studios Store… for now.
And in other Harry Potter merchandise news, we found this new set of magical jewelry from Alex and Ani, available in the Studios Store. We also found the same jewelry in Filch’s Emporium of Confiscated Goods, though without the Alex and Ani placard.
The Wizarding World was bustling today. And the cool winter air finally makes the snow-covered roofs feel right at home.
Time for a construction update on Super Nintendo World.
These rolling hills look very blocky and patchworked on the screen here, but in person they look fine.
While venturing through Jurassic World, we stopped to make friends with a lovable Triceratops named Juliet. Blue the Velociraptor can also be seen behind Juliet greeting guests.
These deep, soulful eyes are a masterwork of genetic science and engineering by In Gen… and also Universal Creative.
Thanks for riding along with us on our photo report from Universal Studios Hollywood. That’s a wrap!
