Artist Dave Perillo has revealed the third of four pieces that he will debut at the 2022 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. The newest piece is focused on Spaceship Earth.
“2022 marks the 40th anniversary of Epcot (Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow) opening and its 180 foot tall geosphere ‘Spaceship Earth’ as the centerpiece of the park. I wanted to be sure to include some of favorite parts of the ride, including the sleeping monk & groovy computer woman,” Perillo said of the piece.
Perillo’s other new pieces feature Maelstrom and Orange Bird, with the fourth yet to be revealed. He will also be present for signings at the event on seven dates in January.
The 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Arts begins on January 14 and runs through February 21.
