Greetings from the Universal Orlando Resort. It’s a chilly day, but we’re ready to hit the parks. Unfortunately, we won’t be spending any time on Waturi Beach today.

Due to the cold weather, Volcano Bay was closed. Florida weather is so unpredictable.

Shrek 4-D is closing very soon, so we’re trying to get a few more showings before it’s gone forever.

Christmas decorations are still up in many locations around the park. The tree is still standing in New York, but they have started to remove the decorations.

Another attraction that is closing soon is Revenge of the Mummy. Grab a latte and enjoy one last ride before refurbishment begins!

A new plush for Blue is available. This adorable baby raptor can be yours for just $18.

New JAWS keychains are available in the Film Vault. Take a closer look in our post here.

This Chocolate Orange fudge looks good! It’s available at Island Market and Export Candy Shoppe. The fudge is made in-house, so it’s always fresh and delicious. They’ve been getting a lot of new, creative flavors so we’re excited to see what’s next.

Holiday merchandise is still available around the parks, but nothing has been discounted.

Construction walls and scrims have gone back up around the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride track so that work can resume on Caro-Seuss-el. We could even see workers out on the roof of the attraction.

The line for Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure didn’t look very long this afternoon. The holiday crowds are finally gone!

VelociCoaster only had a 40 minute wait. That’s a huge difference from a week ago!

Team Members working at the Raptor Encounter are now dressed in the same style as the VelociCoaster attractions Team Members. This wardrobe and the Jurassic World ID tags help create a more immersive experience when visiting Blue and the other girls.

There’s no line for a drink at the Watering Hole, but you might be waiting a while for pizza from Pizza Predattoria.

There’s typically a sign here in Port of Entry, but we noticed it’s missing now. We’re hoping it’s just getting refreshed and will return soon.
