Disney’s latest animated film, Encanto, arrived on Disney+ in time for the holidays!

If you and your family are looking for a new recipe to make at home while everyone’s on their winter break, then we found a tasty appetizer inspired by the film that you can whip up this week! We love sharing Disney recipes as often as we can, and this one is right up our alley.

Disney shared an easy-to-follow recipe for Julieta Madrigal’s magic buñuelos or cheese fritters!

Here are all of the ingredients you’ll need to get started:

You’ll also want to make sure you have a large mixing bowl to combine your ingredients!

You’ll also need a medium pan that you’ll heat oil on high before adding your ingredients.

You’ll then divide your dough into equal portions (this recipe yields 32 fritters), and fry three to four of them at a time.

Once they’re done frying, you’ll want to place them on a paper towel to help drain the excess oil. Allow them to cool a bit, and enjoy right away!
