As you may have guessed, guests who are visiting EPCOT mere days before the start of a new festival are able to get a sneak peek at some of the displays that are going up around the park. The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts begins Friday and Craig was in the park to catch a glimpse of what’s on the canvas this year.
It’s always fun to me to see what creative looks we’re going to see and this year’s display does not disappoint. I love seeing Figment hanging out in the middle of the garden between a double rainbow in this colorful display!
It’s also really cool to see larger-than-life art supplies that are positioned just perfectly as if they are the reason for the splash of color in the planted flowers. Too cute!
The display at Port of Entry at the entrance to World Showcase includes more rainbows and a couple of different colors of the tubes of pigment, and did you notice their names? We have Royal Purple Pigment along with Little Spark of Yellow and Autumn Flower Orange. Cute!
The Expression Section – Paint by Number mural is being set up and if you’ve never had the chance to participate in that activity, we highly recommend it!
One of my very favorite parts of this festival, in particular, is seeing the incredible chalk art throughout Future World. Craig was fortunate enough to see an artist working on a masterpiece when he was at EPCOT yesterday so we’ve got a little peek to share of two pieces!
Will you be visiting the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts this year? If you’ve been in the past, let us know in the comments which part(s) are your favorite!
