Disney has named Joe Earley the president of Hulu amidst reorganizing their global direct-to-consumer streaming organization. Previously, Joe Earley was the head of Disney+ marketing and operations. He is taking over Hulu from Kelly Campbell who left last fall to join NBCUniversal’s Peacock.
Rebecca Campbell’s title has changed from chairman of International Operations & Direct-to-Consumer to chairman of International Content and Operations. This team will be the fourth “content-creation engine” for Disney, after the studios, general entertainment, and sports content groups. Campbell will focus on local and regional content production and oversee Disney’s international media teams.
