We have a bit of a slight obsession with doughnuts here at DFB. Whether it’s those huge, extravagant donuts from Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew or the latest specialty flavor from The Donut Box at EPCOT, we’re always on the lookout for places to enjoy these sweet treats.

If you love doughnuts as much as we do, then you’ll want to hear about a special promotion happening through the American Red Cross and Krispy Kreme!
WESH has reported that the donut chain Krispy Kreme will give away a dozen original glazed doughnuts to those who donate blood to the American Red Cross. The promotion is good from today, January 24th through next Monday, January 31st.

According to WESH, the American Red Cross has seen “a 10% decrease in donations since the start of the pandemic in March 2020,” making this the worst blood shortage in over a decade. If you’re interested, head to your local Krispy Kreme after donating blood to the American Red Cross and present your donation sticker or a donation confirmation on the Red Cross blood donor app.

If you’re in the Disney World area this week and want to participate, there are a couple of Krispy Kreme locations near property you can head to afterwards.
