Magical Express Fans Can Still Buy a Piece of History in Disney World

Disney’s Magical Express was recently discontinued at the start of 2022…but we just spotted a trace of this piece of Disney history in the parks!

We’ll miss you, Magical Express

Disney’s Magical Express was the complimentary ground transportation service that took Disney World hotel guests to and from Orlando International Airport. The company that provided the service, Mears, now offers a similar paid option for guests, in addition to several other ground transportation services that are available for a fee. But there is still a trace of Disney’s Magical Express left in the parks (for now, at least!) that allows fans the chance to take home a reminder of this piece of Disney history!

While visiting EPCOT today, we spotted the Disney World Transportation 3-Piece Bus Set. This set of three toy buses isn’t new, but it caught our eye for another reason. The set includes a Disney Cruise Line bus, a standard Disney World transportation bus, plus, drum roll please…

…a Magical Express bus! These sets have been around for a while, so it looks like Disney just hasn’t swapped out the now-extinct bus for another model yet. But if you’re looking for a way to commemorate all of your past trips to and from the airport on the Magical Express, here’s your chance!

We Miss You Already, Magical Express!

We’ll be keeping an eye out for any other fun merchandise in the parks — whether it’s new or just nostalgic — so stay tuned to DFB for the latest Disney World updates!
