This morning, a new Main Street, U.S.A. window was unveiled at Disneyland. It is dedicated to the founder and first chief archivist of The Walt Disney Archives, Disney Legend Dave Smith.

The Disneyland Ambassadors shared photos of the unveiling on their Instagram story.

The window advertises the “New Century Historical Society,” and Dave Smith is listed as the “Town Archivist.”

Smith founded the Walt Disney Archives in 1970 and was named a Disney Legend in 2007. He passed away in 2019 at the age of 78.
