New Details Revealed for Flower & Garden Festival

The 2022 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival runs from March 2 to July 4 this year – a total of 125 days! As always, the festival will feature plenty of colorful blooms, good tunes, fragrant scents, and fresh flavors.

One of the most glorious times of the year to visit EPCOT is during the Flower & Garden Festival. It is absolutely gorgeous and today, Disney has shared a bit of detail that we can expect to see this year.

Since the festival will take place during the 50th Anniversary celebration of Walt Disney World, the main entrance topiary display this year will feature Goofy and a birthday cake.

Disney Horticulturists are working on new topiaries of the Seven Dwarfs to accompany Snow White near the Germany pavilion in World Showcase. Some of our favorite topiaries such as Lumiere and Cogsworth in the France pavilion as well as Pumbaa and Timon topiaries near Imagination! will return this year.

The new Blossoms of Fragrance garden with six “scent stations” will be presented by Scentsy and will feature floral, fruity, citrus, spice, woods, and fresh aromas. Visitors can expect to see larger-than-life butterfly topiaries at this garden and they’ll be able to visit Bambi’s Butterfly House for viewing real butterflies.

The Garden Rocks Concert Series returns to the festival this year, featuring internationally recognized artists on the America Gardens Theatre stage Friday through Monday; local bands will rock the house Tuesday through Thursday. Artists recently added to the lineup include Gospel singer CeCe Winans and Tommy DeCarlo, singer of the band Boston. They’ll join returning favorites such as The Guess Who, Rick Springfield and Kool & The Gang, as well as popular Latin hitmakers Melina León and Claudia Leitte. For Friday through Monday concerts, you can make a reservation for a Garden Rocks Dining Package by visiting FreshEPCOT.com.

This year’s festival will feature 18 Outdoor Kitchens that will serve up a variety of tempting menu items. The EPCOT Farmers Feast kitchen’s menu options will rotate throughout the festival, so be sure to check there if you visit on multiple occasions. Disney says they’ll be releasing the complete foodie guide toward the end of February, so stay tuned.

Garden Graze, a fun food stroll highlighting five sweet and savory offerings listed in the Festival Passport, is returning this year as well. Guests can eat their way through the graze and receive a special treat upon completion.

And, of course, we can expect some new merchandise! This year’s collection will include colorful apparel, drinkware, garden tools, and much more. New collections will feature Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Orange Bird, Figment, and Spike the Bee.
