Happy New Year! We are starting 2022 off at Magic Kingdom. Let’s get going.
It was not very crowded this morning and we were able to grab a castle picture with no guests in it. A great start to our new year!
At the Emporium, we found a few more late holiday arrivals. A comfort harness with a Santa Mickey hat is sure to keep your furry friend snug.
We found a matching collar to the comfort harness.
A Mickey and Minnie salt and pepper shaker set arrived on the shelves at the Emporium.
These Chip and Dale mugs and Walt’s Holiday Lodge cookie jar joined the salt and pepper shakers on the shelves.
This cookie jar will be great for next year. We love the attention to detail on each side of it.
If you love Starbucks tumblers, then you will have to scoop up the new pink one. They are hiding it behind the registers, so you will have to ask for it.
Choo Choo! A brand new Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Lionel Electric Train has pulled in. We only saw three available at the Emporium, so grab yours while you can.
If you loved the Mickey Waffle Loungefly backpack and Minnie ears, then you are in for a treat. The matching spirit jersey has finally landed. We found it at Star Traders in Tomorrowland.
Bye, Big Al! We will see you next time, buddy. Let’s head to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort for some more shopping and a snack.
At Boutiki, we discovered a new hand painted ornament of the Great Ceremonial House. The detail on this ornament is absolutely amazing.
Outside at Pineapple Lanai, we grabbed a New Year’s Pineapple Dole Whip. A delicious pineapple dole whip on top of pog juice is perfect to cool you off after a day at the parks.
We are headed to Disney Springs.
Upon our arrival to Disney Springs, we joined the virtual queue for Gideon’s Bakehouse and decided we should “wait” by doing some shopping. Inside World of Disney, we found two new spirit jersey sweatshirts. Baymax, your own personal healthcare companion, can be with you at all times with this adorable hooded spirit jersey.
Make way in your closet for this wayfinder hooded spirit jersey.
A new simple white t-shirt caught our eye with its EARidescent shimmer.
“Chewie, we are going home” in these new Star Wars hoodies.
Three new “punny” tie-dye sweatshirts made us giggle as we left World of Disney.
You can get nostalgic with the 1972 board game, “A Visit to Walt Disney World.” Players can build the 1972 version of Magic Kingdom and play “a game that’s a world of fun.”
The force is with us. At Star Wars Trading Post, the force led us to two new Our Universe items. This Skywalker Academy sweatshirt features the logo and saying “Heroes of the force.”
“You have the spirit of a true Jedi” is our new positive affirmation.
Our moment has come! We are heading back to Gideon’s Bakehouse. January items are all about banana.
The Limited Edition Banana Bread Nitro Cold Brew tasted identical to the chocolate and peanut covered frozen bananas served at Magic Kingdom.
The Banana Bread Chocolate Chip cookie matched perfectly with the banana cold brew. We are full to the brim with banana and chocolate, so we are ending our day here. Thanks for spending the first day of the new year with us.
