There are some amazing places to get sweets in Disney World.
So many sweets, so little time
But what about…outside of Disney World? There’s one unique sweet shop located in New York and a favorite actor — you know, the one who never ages — co-owns it! Check it out!
Paul Rudd, all-around good human and of Clueless and Ant-Man fame (as well as too many other titles to list), actually co-owns Samuel’s Sweet Shop located in Rhinebeck, New York! This shop is a cozy coffee bar that also serves delicious sweets (obvi).

Hilarie Burton (of One Tree Hill fame) and her husband, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (you might remember him from Grey’s Anatomy or The Walking Dead), own a farm not far from Rhinebeck, New York, and they fell in love with Samuel’s of Rhinebeck, which was opened in 1994 by Ira Gutner. After Gutner passed away unexpectedly in 2014, they decided to buy the shop alongside their friends and reopened it as Samuel’s Sweet Shop.

Now, along with Morgan and Burton, both Paul and Julie Rudd co-own this special sweet shop! Rudd has been quoted as saying, “The best thing about being an owner of a candy shop is getting my favorite holiday candy in June.” We’re with you, Paul!
