Lunar New Year is just around the corner, and Disney has a new collection to celebrate the Year of the Tiger. We spotted the collection at Disney California Adventure, where the festivities will kick off on January 21.
Lunar New Year Tee – $36.99
The entire collection features traditional red with gold accents.
Chip and Dale make an appearance here, too.
The tee reads “Happy New Year 2022” at the top and “Celebrating the Year of the Tiger” at the bottom of the graphic.
The back of the tee is plain red.
Lunar New Year Fitted Tee – $36.99
This tee has Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy, along with Chip & Dale and the Tiger.
We noticed that the smaller sizes (XS and small) don’t feature the gold writing at the top of the image. The writing can be found on sizes medium and larger.
The back of this tee features all of the characters from the front. Sleeping Beauty Castle makes its way into this print, along with Mickey fireworks.
Lunar New Year Spirit Jersey for Adults- $74.99
Chip & Dale are in tiger costumes atop the tiger float on the front left breast, while a Mickey print decorates the bottom half of the jersey.
The back features golden Chinese characters along with “Celebrate the Year of the Tiger.”
Lunar New Year Tervis Tumbler- $39.99
This stainless steel Tervis tumbler features the characters in traditional Chinese clothing.
The year in gold and various Chinese motifs fill out the print.
Again we see the Tiger along with Chip & Dale.
Here’s Minnie with a Chinese paper fan.
Underneath Mickey, we again see the words “Happy New Year” and “Celebrating the Year of the Tiger.”
The tumbler comes with a lid and is not dishwasher or microwave safe.
Lunar New Year Figurine- $125
The figurine showcases the Tiger float and Chip & Dale, as seen throughout the collection.
On the tree in the background, the mini Donald, Daisy, Mickey, and Minnie appear again as lanterns.
The figurine comes in a festive gift box.
Lunar New Year Mickey Plush- $29.99
This Mickey Mouse plush celebrates the Lunar New Year with a traditional style of dress.
Mickey’s outfit has beautiful detailing.
The patch on his foot has the Tiger along with “Shanghai Disney Resort.”
