PHOTOS: Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Unexpectedly Closed Today at Magic Kingdom

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in Magic Kingdom is temporarily closed and did not open with the rest of the park at 9:00 a.m.

Cast Members were walking through Frontierland to let guests know both the coaster and Splash Mountain are closed.

There is no announced reason for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad’s closure.

My Disney Experience says the ride is “temporarily closed” and guests can still book Lightning Lane return times with Disney Genie+.
