One of the unique features of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is its Polynesian-inspired art and design. Thankfully, a missing piece has been returned to its walls after a long absence.
After having been removed in early August, this oar is again on display outside the entrance to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto.
The handle features a white seashell, along with some carvings that make it resemble a hook. (Perhaps Maui needed to borrow it.)
Over the summer, the lounge saw a few small changes as part of Walt Disney World’s cultural sensitivity changes.
