Catch a wave! Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park is officially open for the 2022 season. And we were there at rope-drop this morning to bring you all the coverage.
Today marks the first time Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park has been open since the COVID-19 pandemic started and due to its annual refurbishment.
The park has been freshly refurbished but not much seems to have changed, except for menu changes, free mask bins, and a new character sighting with Stitch.
Some guests were already enjoying the Surf Pool right at park open.
And we were the first guests to scale Mount Mayday in years.
The classic Hidden Mickey tubes are still here.
There also seems to be little presence of signage for masks except at stores and restrooms.
The Hei Hei Dole Whip Cone has returned. We’ll also be trying the new Motunui Island Twist as well as many of the new menu items. So keep following along!
