Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now closed for a refurbishment set to last through mid-April. During the more than three months of planned closure, the refurbishment will reportedly address issues with the ride system. At this time, no repairs are planned for the Yeti animatronic.
There were almost no guests in the Everest area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom this morning.
It was especially quiet without the screams of guests who encountered the Yeti.
The Bazaar was closed.
Some Construction walls were up.
Queue signage and tapstiles were covered.
