Connections Café and Eatery will be a brand-new quick-service restaurant in the World Celebration neighborhood of EPCOT. We don’t yet know when the restaurant will open but we’re keeping an eye on construction.
In the breezeway between Creations Shop and Connections Café, we can see construction vehicles inside the restaurant.
The next day, we saw crew members working atop the indoor overhang structure.
In the corner of the breezeway, new windows have been installed.
The large column in front of the windows has only been partially repainted.
Some of the ceiling also remains grey.
The Communicore-style skylight tubes inside have been completed.
Wires hang from the breezeway ceiling where more lights will be installed, likely after painting.
Around the corner, none of the roof overhang has yet to be painted.
But it seems we’re close to the corner of the building being completed.
Metal rods now cover the entire corner of the building.
Yellow sheeting is visible at the top of the roof.
There’s still scaffolding along the other side of the building.
Tarps cover some of the windows to keep them protected.
