Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind isn’t the only EPCOT construction project making big strides today. Scaffolding has been moved and we saw new elements being installed inside Connections Café and Eatery.

The new restaurant will be in the World Celebration neighborhood, replacing Electric Umbrella.

Scaffolding is now at the corner of the building, which is being reconstructed.

A crew member in a cherry-picker vehicle was working beneath the roof overhang nearby.

The columns next to each window have been stripped of paneling.

Scaffolding remains on the side of the building.

Tarp covers some of the windows, as well.

The roof overhang has yet to be repainted.

Some of the breezeway also needs to be repainted.

Wall paneling is also missing from a wall column in here.

More lights will be installed on the breezeway ceiling.

Inside, we could see new wave elements.

Crew members were working on them.

The waves create new walls next to the interior overhang.

Windows now completely surround the restaurant.
