Disney’s Yacht Club Resort is currently under refurbishment and we checked in on the construction work when we visited for breakfast at Ale & Compass Restaurant.
We noticed that the flower beds were empty at the main entrance to the resort.
Most of the refurbishment is taking place on the back.
There was lots of paint and patch work being done, but it seems most of it has been completed.
The area around this door was still being worked on, as evidenced by the blue painter’s tape.
As we noted a few days ago, scaffolding is currently up on the sides of the resort’s towers.
A cherry-picker construction vehicles is parked next to the pool on pieces of wood, with net fencing around it.
The flower bed in this area is also empty.
Some of the siding on the towers is not the same color.
We didn’t see any crew members working this morning.
We spotted another construction vehicle parked nearby for working on the second tower.
More scaffolding covers some of the room balconies.
