It’s our first look at TRON Lightcycle / Run in the new year. The Magic Kingdom attraction may or may not open in 2022, so we’re keeping an eye out for any major changes at the construction site.
Guests can get a good look at construction from the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
It looks like all the arched pieces for the entrance canopy have been installed, but crew members continue to work on them ahead of the canopy’s installation.
Scaffolding remains up beneath the coaster’s entrance into the show building.
Guests will reach the attraction on a pathway winding beneath the coaster’s canopy.
The visible section of this pathway has now been completely paved.
There is a median structure at the beginning of the pathway that will likely have plants and a sign for the attraction.
Temporary netting and wooden railings currently surround the pathway.
The structure next to the coaster has yet to be completely surrounded by walls.
The Storybook Circus side is mostly enclosed, however.
