The Lunar New Year festival at Disney California Adventure isn’t just about food. Guests can also meet rare characters during physically-distanced character sightings.

We got to meet the Three Little Pigs, who are all wearing special red and gold outfits for the celebrations.

A fence is around the characters to keep guests at a distance.

This gazebo is dressed up with statues, banners, and more Lunar New Year decorations.

Guests must wait in line for time with the characters.

Once you’re at the front of the line, you can chat with the characters and take photos.

The same rules apply for Mulan and Mushu, who were out next.

Mulan got down on the floor to speak to some younger guests.

The characters were happy to pose for photos.
