D23 is the official Disney fan club, and they host events throughout the year about all things Disney. Last November, we attended the Destination D23 event, where we heard updates and announcements about Disney attractions, upcoming events, new technology, and more.

Soon, tickets will go on sale for an even bigger D23 event, the 2022 D23 Expo. This event was supposed to take place last year, but it was postponed until 2022. The Expo covers news, announcements, and behind-the-scenes looks at several different aspects of the Walt Disney Company. During a media event today, we got more information about the upcoming D23 Expo.

This year’s D23 Expo will take place in Anaheim, California, on September 9th through the 11th, 2022. D23 just announced that the 2022 Expo will be sponsored by Visa.

D23 said that Visa is “the ‘Official Way to Pay at D23 Expo’” and that D23 members who are also Visa cardholders will get access to exclusive offers, benefits, and “one-of-a-kind” Disney experiences.

One of those extra benefits is that all D23 members who pay with their Visa card will get early access to 2022 D23 Expo tickets. For most members, the tickets go on sale on January 20th. But members who pay with a Visa card get “an exclusive 24-hour pre-sale for a limited number of one-day and three-day tickets.” This sale begins at 10AM PT on January 19th.

This is a big benefit, since we’ve seen tickets for the D23 Expo run out quickly after they go on sale. So if you’re a D23 member with a Visa card, be sure to set your alarm for right at 10AM PT on January 19th!
