Now that we’re past the season for peppermint beignets, the Disneyland Resort has introduced yet another new flavor of the beloved treats, so naturally we headed straight for New Orleans Square today to give them a try.
Cookie Butter Beignets- $5.49 (pack of 3) or $8.99 (pack of 6)
3 or 6 Mickey-shaped beignets topped with powdered sugar topped with Shortbread Cookie-Powdered Sugar.
As always, the beignets are served in a white paper bag, with the cookie butter sauce on the side.
These are the lovely fresh, light Mickey shaped beignets from Mint Julep that we all know and love.
They’re dusted in powdered sugar and shortbread crumbs.
The beignet on its own is a bit flavorless, but when dipped in the cookie butter it comes together for a fun, sweet treat that adults and kids will enjoy. While not everyone is always a fan of cookie butter, we found that combining it with a beignet makes for a delicious treat.
All in all, we absolutely recommend stopping by to give these a try.
