REVIEW: Disney Just Combined 2 of Our Favorite Desserts and We’re in Love

Ah, the churro. The perfect combo of sweet, savory, and crispy! Over the years, Disney has tried many, many different churro flavors, some delicious, some not-so-delicious (we’re looking at you, Strawberry Matcha Churro). We’ve seen Disney make it festive, saucy, and even turn it into a hot dog!

But have you ever had a churro that was…zingy? Well, we discovered one recently and it was DELICIOUS!

Over in Disney California Adventure, we found the Lemon Bar Churro, which features a Churro rolled in Crushed Vanilla Wafer Sugar with a Tart Drizzle! Honestly, this treat is the best of both worlds and it’ll set you back $6.75 at the Grizzly Peak Churro Cart.

The Lemon Bar Churro!

This was seriously delicious! When you first bite into it, there’s a nice tartness from the lemon drizzle, which is quickly followed by a sweetness from the vanilla wafer sugar and the churro itself. This definitely felt like eating a lemon bar, just in churro form! Like we said before, this treat was the best of both worlds (cue the Hannah Montana theme music!).

It’s zesty, it’s zingy, it’s delicious!

This isn’t the only classic Disneyland treat that’s gotten a flavorful upgrade: recently, Mickey Beignets got a new cookie butter flavor that’s even more delicious than you can imagine!

It might seem like all of Disneyland’s treats are in plentiful supply, but we’ve actually been investigating a situation surrounding a certain deep-fried ham sandwich…the Monte Cristo! It seems that some sort of shortage has hit the delicious, fluffy treat, and we’re bringing you ongoing updates on what’s going on with the Monte Cristo.

We hope you enjoyed reading about these delicious treats as much as we loved writing about them (and eating them!). If you want the latest Disney news, you should definitely stick around and stay tuned!
