REVIEW: One of Disney World’s PRETTIEST Snacks is Sold at an UNEXPECTED Location!

If you’ve never visited Disney World’s water parks, you may have missed out on some delicious food!

There’s more than just water rides here!

At Blizzard Beach, we’ve previously eaten our fill of Edible Cookie Dough, Chocolate-Dipped Key Lime Pie, Bacon and Macaroni and Cheese Hot Dogs, and a whole bucket of ice cream (#sorrynosorry). But Blizzard Beach has closed for refurbishment. 😟 However, Typhoon Lagoon just reopened and WE NOW HAVE NEW SNACKS TO TRY!

One of those snacks is the Montunui Island Twist, which is a brand new Dole Whip snack! So, OBVIOUSLY, we had to try it out because that’s what we do. It’s made with Dole Whip Lime soft-serve, edible flowers, and green sprinkles! Isn’t she beautiful? 🥲

This new Dole Whip creation is MASSIVE! We found it to be even bigger than the Hei Hei cone (sold at the same location), so if you’re extra hungry, give the Montunui Island Twist a try! There is a ton of lime dole whip packed in there.

We hereby award this cone the most beautiful snack we’ve ever tried

The lime soft-serve tasted like the perfect combination of sweet and tart, and the texture was both crunchy (from the sprinkles) and creamy. See that cute little pansy? It’s edible! Don’t worry, though, the flowers don’t have much of a taste. The sugar flowers were nice and crunchy, and we think that kids will LOVE them!

Edible flowers? Yes, please!

If you don’t mind a slightly tart flavor, you will probably enjoy this treat — especially after a busy day at the water park!

This did NOT disappoint!

Now let’s talk about the cone. The top of the cone was dipped in a mossy-looking green sugar. While this helped make the cone nice and sturdy, the flavor wasn’t our favorite. We found ourselves wanting to get past the dipped part of the cone to get to the actual waffle cone. By the time we ate our way to the waffle cone, it was a little soggy, though!

That sugary stuff was a little weird…

You can find the Montunui Island Twist at the Snack Shack for $5.29. And while you’re there, don’t forget that you can also pick up the Hei Hei Cone, which has made its glorious return! You’ll also find other delicious Dole Whip snacks at Snack Shack, including make-your-own Dole Whip snacks and BOOZY Dole Whip treats. So it might be worth a visit to a Disney World water park if you’re a Dole Whip fan like we are!

LOVED!

We’re trying a bunch of the new treats at Typhoon Lagoon, so stay tuned for more reviews!
