Yet again in the continuing saga of breakdowns and unexpected closures for the ride, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has once again experienced “technical difficulties.”

Though the attraction did open with the park this morning, guests were turned away starting at around 8 a.m. after the ride unexpectedly closed. A Cast Member posted outside is telling guests that the attraction is “having technical difficulties, [and] we don’t have any estimates at this time.” Guests are being directed to check the My Disney Experience app for more information when the attraction reopens.

As of publication time, the attraction is still closed. This comes after an unexpected four-day closure shuttered the notoriously unreliable attraction from December 29, 2021 to January 1, 2022. After two days of occasional operation, it is closed once again. In an odd coincidence, the attraction was also closed for the first five days of 2021.

Recently, the attraction was closed for two days after guests were evacuated as smoke was seen and smelled within the show building.
