Pavement Artist

Artists of all sorts are pretty commonplace in Disney World, whether they’re slinging merch at the Festival of the Arts or crafting culinary art, but there’s one SUPER specific type of artist that you probably never thought of!

Pavement Artists are the talented folks who illuminate walkways with gorgeous chalk art, occasionally seen at EPCOT festivals especially. 

Sometimes these are custodians who just so happen to be low-key artists, but often Disney just employs artists with a particular affinity for pavement.

This includes rides like Jungle Cruise, Kali River Rapids, and Splash Mountain, checking on boats, clearing debris off tracks, and ensuring underwater mechanics are ship-shape!
