Although Disney World water parks aren’t quite as popular as the theme parks, they still get their share of guests wanting to cool off on a hot Florida day.
Typhoon Lagoon
Although the Blizzard Beach water park recently closed for refurbishment, Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon recently reopened, but it will temporarily close again soon.
When we checked hours on the Disney World website for Typhoon Lagoon, we discovered that no hours are showing for tomorrow, January 16th.

The day after, Monday, January 17th, is also not showing any times available.

This could be a temporary closure due to weather — According to the Orlando weather forecast, thunderstorms and winds are predicted for tomorrow, with chilly temperatures (at least for Florida) on Monday.

Whatever the reason, though, please make a note that you will not be able to visit Typhoon Lagoon on these two days, so if that was part of your Disney World plan, you’ll have to re-adjust. And as always, check the Disney World website for hours if you plan to visit a theme park or water park soon. And we’ll let you know if we spot any other closures, so check back with us often!
