Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been HURTING the last few weeks! We’ve seen a four-hour-long wait for Rise of the Resistance (which then proceeded to shut down) and overwhelming holiday crowds, with Hollywood Studios having a rough time keeping up.

But one ride is having the hardest time, closing over and over again throughout the new year. Today, that ride’s bad luck streak continues!
Yesterday (January 7th, 2022), we saw that Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster was closed AGAIN! The ride had just reopened on January 5th after closing for some time, which had been happening frequently last week.

Today (January 8th), we stopped by Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster again and saw that the ride was still closed. When we asked Cast Members what was up with the ride and they explained that there were “technical difficulties” with the attraction.
It’s still closed!
Although we’re not sure what’s exactly happening with Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster this time, it’s clear that there’s something going on with the technical side of things again and Disney is working to fix it.
You can still take pictures in front of the iconic guitar!
We noticed that the ride’s gift shop, Rock Around the Shop, was also closed.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy is still open, so it looks like the technical difficulties are only affecting Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.
