Well, another year has arrived at Disneyland Resort, and we are so ready for whatever 2022 might bring. And although we’ve already got some attractions closing soon for refurbishments (the Monorail, The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure, and Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind), we’ve also got the return of Grad Nights to look forward to, as well as a complete Toon Town makeover (although we won’t see that until 2023).

LOTS of exciting stuff is happening on the West Coast, and we’ve got some updates you might want to know about — and open up their wallets because a lot of this involves a lot of very cool new merchandise we just found at the resort! So here’s what’s new at Disneyland!

Disneyland Food Updates

Tropical Hideaway

Well, you know we are never going to turn down the opportunity to try a new DOLE Whip, so when we got word about the Holiday Dole Whip, we RAN to Tropical Hideaway to try it out (okay, we didn’t REALLY run because that’s not allowed, but we walked very very fast). It’s a swirl of cherry and lime Dole Whip topped with sprinkles and a gummy. YUM.

Needless to say, we LOVED IT — it tasted like a sour gummy, but in DOLE Whip form. This DOLE Whip is no longer available, but we wish it could’ve stuck around longer!

Candy Palace

We were pretty excited to dive into the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cookie Pie and we were NOT disappointed. It’s like a cousin to the Jack Jack Cookie Num Nums — but with peanut butter. NUM!!!!

So we actually ate healthy at Disneyland and didn’t hate it. In fact, we really liked the Asian Chicken Salad we had at Pacific Wharf Cafe. It’s made with Red and Green Cabbage, tossed in Miso Dressing with Mandarin Oranges, Edamame, Broccoli, and Cucumbers served with Chicken and Sliced Sourdough

Over at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel, we checked out the hot dog of the month at GCH Craftsman Grill!

The Philly Cheese Dog features Shaved Ribeye Steak, Sautéed Onions, and Bell Peppers, topped with Melted Cheese. YUM! We really enjoyed this hot dog and it is one of our favorites we’ve had in a while. Grab it this month for $12!
