“A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has added an eighth showtime to its weekday schedule. The show schedule was reduced last month, and before that, it was performed eight times a day on weekends, but only seven times a day on weekdays.
The extra showtime is at 1:00 p.m. so it will now perform every hour starting at 10:00 a.m. and with the final performance at 5:00 p.m.
“A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King” is a pared-down version of “The Festival of the Lion King.” Some elements of the show are still missing, although a recent audition posting indicates the aerial section of the show will return soon.
