• The official Walt Disney World website has posted the attractions that will be running during Extended Evening Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on April 13, 2022 “only.”

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

• “A Celebration of the Festival of the Lion King” at Disney’s Animal Kingdom has added an eighth showtime to its weekday schedule.

Walt Disney World Resort Hotels

• The term “databand” has been replaced with “MagicBand” on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser website as the grand opening approaches.
• In a new video, Disney has given us our first real look at the inside of Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, with most previous images just being concept art or CGI.
• Jambo! We attended the reopening of this fan-favorite signature restaurant, Jiko – The Cooking Place, at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. Read our review of all the new delicious dishes here.

Other Walt Disney World News

• With many enjoying a long weekend thanks to President’s Day on Monday, Walt Disney World Park Passes are booked up through the holiday.
• Hours at all four Walt Disney World theme parks have been extended from March 6 through March 12.

Disneyland Resort

• Magic Key Holder Celebration Month continues at Disneyland Resort with more complimentary gifts. Magic Key sunglasses and a second poster are now available for pick-up across from Blue Sky Cellar at Disney California Adventure.

Tokyo Disney Resort

• We now have details on every single delectable treat coming to Tokyo Disneyland for Disney Easter 2022 from April 1 to June 30!

Disneyland Paris

• Arribas France has shared photos of the glass products they will offer at Disneyland Paris as part of the 30th anniversary celebration beginning March 5.

Disney Cruise Line

• Disney Cruise Line is extending the final payment deadline for select Disney Magic and Disney Wonder sailings until 30 days prior to the sailing.

• Disney has shared a preview of some of the merchandise for the 2022 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend that will be available starting Thursday, February 24, at the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo.
• Whether you’re stepping out for date night or getting dressed up for Walt Disney World, this new Mickey Mouse diamond necklace is the perfect piece of jewelry for any outfit.
• Whether you’re sailing away on a Disney Cruise or not, you can still grab some cruise-inspired ears and Dooney & Bourke bags now on shopDisney.com.
• More Mickey Mouse spring apparel and merchandise has arrived at Disneyland Resort, along with some Winnie the Pooh housewares.
• The newest Princess doll in the Disney Designer Collection is Tiana. She’s now available at Disneyland Resort, and we first found her in Big Top Toys at Disney California Adventure.
• Several new keychains and bag charms are now available at Disneyland Resort.
• A new travel mug featuring Disney characters riding Disneyland attractions is now available at Disneyland Park.
• More “Big Hero 6” apparel has joined the Spirit Jersey that was released earlier this year at Disneyland Resort.
• Walt Disney World has a new “Castle Wish” necklace and a matching pair of earrings, now available in the Pandora section of Uptown Jewelers at Magic Kingdom.
• We spotted the new Magic Key phone cases at Disneyland that were announced last month.
• New Pandora charms inspired by different Avengers characters are now available at Walt Disney World.

Disney+

• Olivia Rodrigo has announced that her new documentary, “OLIVIA RODRIGO: driving home 2 u (a SOUR film),” featuring new arrangements of the 11 songs from her album “SOUR” will be released exclusively on Disney+ on March 25, 2022.
• Disney is developing another new Muppets series for Disney+. According to SlashFilm, this new series will focus on Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem, and Adam Goldberg of “The Goldbergs” is involved with the project.

The Walt Disney Company

• Marcus Gonzalez — the designer behind all of the Trader Sam’s tiki mugs as well as other popcorn buckets, sippers, and barware — is leaving The Walt Disney Company after 32 years.
