I love weddings so much, but my favorite part is the wedding dress. I recently got married back in November of 2021, and when I got engaged, the first thing I did was look at dresses online. My whole life, I knew I wanted to look like Belle on my wedding day. Of course, I came across different Disney princess-inspired wedding dresses, which helped me figure out exactly what I wanted in my wedding gown. Disney just released new Disney Princess-inspired wedding dresses, and now I want to get married to my wife all over again. Disney Fairytale Weddings has been partnered with Allure Bridal for a while now; I know this because when I was about 15 years old (ten years ago), I was looking at the dresses they had. They offer many different dresses inspired by favorite Disney princesses, and they have an array of silhouettes. In this new release, they created a dress inspired by the 50th Anniversary Celebration at Walt Disney World, which is full of shimmer and sparkle.
They unveiled these dresses by doing a fashion show in the heart of the Magic Kingdom. There is no better way to show off these beautiful gowns. The pictures I will be sharing of the dresses are coming straight from the Disney Parks Instagram. One of the dresses looks like an elevated, more magical version of the dress I wore on my wedding day, which got me very emotional. Okay, enough of my emotions, let’s get into the dresses. Twenty-five brand-new wedding dresses featuring diverse styles along with different fabrics and silhouettes. I was so happy to see that there were models of all body types in these pictures and the fashion show that you can watch on the Disney Parks YouTube channel.
These two dresses above remind me so much of the dress I got married in. I had the cap sleeves and a full ballgown. These two dresses remind me of Belle’s yellow dress from Beauty and the Beast. If I were to marry my wife again, I would pick the dress on the left.
These two dresses are stunning. They have different silhouettes from the other two dresses that were more of a ballgown shape. The one on the right-hand side is giving me Princess Jasmine vibes.
I saw this dress, and my jaw dropped to the floor. This dress looks almost identical to the one my wife wore. This dress has an A-line ballgown shape with sheer sleeves, and look at all that sparkle. Tiana’s dress resembles flowers and a lily pad, and I see a lot of floral on this dress, so I think she inspires it, but I also think that, in general, this is a dress fit for any princess. This dress looks so royal and regal. I feel like I’m at the royal wedding.
This dress is one-of-a-kind, which is perfect for the 50th Anniversary of Walt Disney World. In the Disney Parks YouTube video showcasing the dresses, they had her come out during the Beacon of Magic. I had tears in my eyes; it was beautiful. This is a Cinderella type of ballgown. I mean, look at the smile on the model’s face; this dress brings out the happiness in those that wear it. I can’t wait to see Disney brides in this dress.
