We’re now just a couple of weeks away from Mickey’s Toontown closing for a yearlong extensive refurbishment, so we’ve got to check in on construction around the land while we can! Let’s take a look at the latest progress on the area, especially around the future Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Some progress has been made on the future El CapiTOON Theatre, which will house the entrance to Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway when it opens next year.
Sections of the highest hills on the attraction’s show building have been painted white, and the building itself has been painted a sky blue color. Some gaps still have yellow tape covering them.
White slabs are slowly making their way across the show building across the blue primer.
Hills have started to go up on the right side of the building, and they will gradually meet in the middle it seems. This section of building is still gray for the moment.
Mickey’s Toontown closes March 8 for its reimagining, so be sure to make your last visits before the area of the park closes up for a year! Are you excited for Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway? Let us know in the comments below.
