EPCOT
- It was another lovely day at EPCOT, which means another lovely day of looking at construction. Let’s see how Journey of Water, inspired by “Moana,” has progressed in the World Nature neighborhood of the park.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
- Toy Story Land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is finally getting (some) shade. Over at Woody’s Lunch Box, the seating area is being expanded and a shade structure has been installed.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
- Restaurantosaurus in Dinoland U.S.A. has been under refurbishment for a few months. Now, one side of the entrance deck appears complete.
Other Walt Disney World News
- Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon water park is closed today, February 5, and will remain closed tomorrow, February 6, due to cold weather.
Disneyland Resort
- Scrim has been removed from most of the fencing surrounding the renovation of the Downtown Disney District tram stop.
- As part of Magic Key Holder Celebration Month, Wetzel’s Pretzels in Downtown Disney District is giving Magic Key holders a free pin with any purchase. This offer is available through the end of February.
New Merchandise
- A new teapot featuring the art of Jerrod Maruyama is now available at Walt Disney World. We found this in Bonjour! Village Gifts at Magic Kingdom.
- Rebecca Hook has a new necklace inspired by Mickey Mouse available at Walt Disney World. We found this necklace in Uptown Jewelers at Magic Kingdom.
- A new MagicBand featuring Tiana from “The Princess and the Frog” is now available at Walt Disney World. We first found it in Frontier Trading Post at Magic Kingdom.
- A new Dooney & Bourke collection is coming soon to Walt Disney World. This collection of bags and MagicBand is called “The Disney Steeds,” featuring all the animated Disney horses.
- The first series of mystery boxes include ten of the 50 figurines and we found them for sale at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom.
- A new shirt and bike shorts inspired by Tinker Bell from “Peter Pan” have flown into Disneyland Resort and landed in World of Disney.
- A new deck of playing cards has joined the “Play in the Park” merchandise collection available at Disneyland Resort.
- If Mickey Mouse is your Valentine, you’ll want this shirt now available at Disneyland Resort.

- A driver in a Lightning McQueen replica car was pulled over for having something covering his front windshield — McQueen’s eyes!
Disney+
- A new “Goosebumps” original series has been picked up by Disney+.
