New ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ Loungefly Backpack, Water Running on Poseidon’s Fury Sign and Façade, & More: Universal Orlando Resort Photo Report 2/14/22

Good morning and welcome to Valentine’s Day at the Universal Orlando Resort! We spotted a couple new updates around Universal’s Islands of Adventure, so let’s jump right into our day.

We found these new “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” Loungefly backpacks in Islands of Adventure Trading Company.

Max and the Grinch look so adorable! This backpack definitely makes us miss the festive season.

Heading through Seuss Landing, we spotted some painting refurbishment around one of the elephants outside of Circus McGurkus Cafe Stoo-Pendous.

The lavender trim has a fresh new coat of paint. The color looks beautiful next to the pink flowers.

Just outside the construction walls, water is running again on both sides of the Poseidon’s Fury sign.

One of the façade fountains is running as well. There is still no set reopening date yet, but hopefully the walls come down soon!

Continuing our loop around the park, we passed by King Julien and some friends getting the crowds pumped up for a fun day.

75 Minute wait time at Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure. That’s a pretty long line but the weather is nice so the wait won’t be too bad!

On the other hand, Skull Island: Reign of Kong was only a 20 minute wait. Which attraction would you choose to wait for?

Crowds aren’t too bad around Marvel Super Hero Island. And wait times really aren’t too bad for it being a holiday.

A new Marvel Avengers hoodie and tee can be found in the Marvel Alterniverse Store.  Both the hoodie and tee seem to match some previous merchandise we spotted a couple weeks ago.

That’s all from us today! For more Universal Studios news from around the world, follow Universal Parks News Today on TwitterFacebook, and Instagram.
