Remember Disney World’s ‘Share a Coke’ Campaign? We Found the Next Best Thing!

We’re simple creatures. We like it when Disney Cast Members put a Mickey head next to our name on our Starbucks cup. We think about buying Mickey balloons, even though we know there’s no way to fly home with an inflated balloon in our luggage. Often, it’s the little things in Disney World that make us happy, and thanks to Joffrey’s Coffee, we have a new reason to smile!

How sweet was this?

As part of Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebration, there are fun little details all over the parks and resorts that celebrate the big milestone. Now, we found a new way to celebrate!

Remember when Coca-Cola made special Coke bottles with fun labels just for Disney World? It was part of the “Share a Coke” campaign a few years ago! Back in the day, we used to scour the parks for a bottle of Coke with our favorite Disney attraction — it was simple, but FUN!

Remember these?!

Well, Joffrey’s Coffee has its own take on this same idea with the new Caffeinated Celebration event! At select Joffrey’s locations around Disney World, guests can personalize their coffee sleeve by sharing their next Disney activity right on their cup!

This looks fun!

First, let’s all appreciate these ✨magical✨ illustrations on the front of the coffee sleeve. So.Cute.

How CUTE is this?!

On the other side, there’s a space for you to write out your plans! Coffee is the first step in many people’s day in Disney World, but what comes next?

It’s giving us flashbacks to the “Share a Coke” bottles!

This is such a fun little way to jazz up your Joffrey’s cup, isn’t it? Like we said, it doesn’t take much to make us excited, so even a personalized coffee sleeve is enough to cheer us up. Hey, Joffrey’s: whoever came up with this idea 👏 deserves 👏 a 👏 raise. Thanks.

It’s the little things that make us smile!

Now if you’ll excuse us, we’re headed to every Disney park for a little Joffrey’s photoshoot. Be sure to stay tuned as we share all the latest Disney news — big and small!

18 — Yes, 18 — Rides Had Average Wait Times Over an Hour in Disney World This Week

February is almost over, and usually that would mean the end of the slow season in Disney World and the beginning of Spring Break crowds…but not this year!

Big yikes, y’all!

This year, there have been unusually high crowds in the parks during the “slow” season, and it seems as if things are just getting busier. This week was particularly busy, probably due to President’s Day Weekend, the start of the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend, AND some schools around the country being on their Winter Breaks. So, how much worse did the average wait times get? Let’s take a look!

Magic Kingdom

Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 99 minutes!

Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

After that, we had Peter Pan’s Flight at 77 minutes, Jungle Cruise at 75 minutes, Splash Mountain at 70 minutes, Space Mountain at 66 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 59 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 55 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 47 minutes, Astro Orbiter at 42 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 42 minutes, and Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 41 minutes.

Splash Mountain

Next, we had “it’s a small world” at 36 minutes, Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 32 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 32 minutes, Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 30 minutes, and Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 30 minutes.

Watch out for that sign!

Then, we saw Tomorrowland Speedway at 29 minutes, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 23 minutes, Mad Tea Party at 21 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 19 minutes, and Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 16 minutes.

Tomorrowland Speedway

And rides that only had wait times in the single digits were Country Bear Jamboree at 6 minutes, Tom Sawyer Island at 6 minutes, Carousel of Progress at 5 minutes, and Liberty Square Riverboat at 2 minutes. Rides with no waits were Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

EPCOT

Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at 114 minutes.

Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure

Then, we had Frozen Ever After at 93 minutes, Test Track at 76 minutes, Soarin’ at 45 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 33 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 25 minutes, The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 22 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 19 minutes, Living with the Land at 18 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour at 16 minutes, and Turtle Talk with Crush at 13 minutes.

Soarin’

The theater shows in EPCOT all had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!

Hollywood Studios

Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 137 minutes.

Join the Resistance

After that, we had Tower of Terror at 126 minutes, Slinky Dog Dash at 111 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 79 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 79 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 79 minutes, and Toy Story Mania at 69 minutes.

Creepy!

And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 41 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 28 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 17 minutes, Muppet*Vision 3Dat 13 minutes, and Walt Disney Presents at 9 minutes.

Animal Kingdom

Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 117 minutes.

Flight of Passage

Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 69 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 72 minutes, DINOSAUR at 33 minutes, and Kali River Rapids at 32 minutes.

The Majestic Giraffe

Following behind was Triceratop Spin at 17 minutes, It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 13 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.

It’s Tough to Be a Bug!

So, there ya have it. And yes, there WERE 5 rides that had average wait times over 100 minutes this week (almost 6, since Seven Dwarfs was at 99 minutes!). And 18 (!!) rides had wait times over an HOUR. We’ll keep an eye on wait times to see if anything changes, so stay tuned to DFB more Disney news and updates.

More United Kingdom Pavilion Floral Merchandise Springs into EPCOT

Just the other day, the new United Kingdom floral collection debuted at EPCOT. And we found a couple of more new items today, as well.

Floral United Kingdom Sweatshirt – $54.99

We found this pretty light-blue zip up sweatshirt.

On the left breast, there is a Minnie Mouse head, with a Union Jack bow, made out of flowers with “United Kingdom” in the middle in blue cursive lettering.

It has two pockets in the front.

The inside of the hood has a light pink lining with a pattern of the floral Minnie Mouse heads.

And on the back is an image of Minnie Mouse dressed in a blue dress, enjoying a cup of tea. Underneath her, it says “Fancy a Cuppa?” in glitter silver lettering.

Floral United Kingdom Blouse – $36.99

There is also this new navy blue blouse with the Minnie Mouse head pattern all over it.

United Kingdom Minnie Mouse Ornament – $24.99

And we also found this new Minnie Mouse ornament.

The ornament is the same image of Minnie from the back of the sweatshirt.

She is sitting in a garden, enjoying a cup of tea.

At the top of the ornament, it says “Queen of the Kingdom” in blue cursive lettering on top of a tree.

Will you be picking up anything from this new collection? Let us know in the comments!

REVIEW: New Donut Stop Believin’ Doughnuts at City Works Eatery & Pour House at Disney Springs

We decided to try the new Donut Stop Believin’ doughnuts at the Rock ‘n’ Roll Brunch at City Works Eatery & Pour House at Disney Springs! Keep on reading for our full review.

Menu

Donut Stop Believin’ – $10

Powdered sugar coated doughnuts, chocolate hazelnut sauce, mixed berry jam

What formerly were beignets are now donuts.

These are very sweet, as you might imagine.

The donuts are very airy, but also have a moist cake consistency that is really pleasant.

The chocolate sauce and the berry compote are good accompaniments. We would definitely recommend these.
