Last week, Disney invited influencers and media for an exclusive preview of the upcoming newest resort at Walt Disney World, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser. The new resort hasn’t even officially opened to guests yet, and exclusive merchandise from the resort is already being resold on eBay.
But media did not have access to the exclusive merchandise — only influencers. Influencers are currently reselling these exclusive lightsabers, droids, and more on eBay.
As you can see below, some items like a lightsaber hilt and an SK-620 droid are listed for sale at just around $1,000 each.
In this screenshot below, every item in green has been sold. The SK-620 droid sold for $695 and the SK-620 figures sold for $195 each.
Disney did set a merchandise limit aboard Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser to two items per cabin on certain merchandise items. But being invited to a media event, and reselling exclusive items just to make a profit, is wrong – especially when real Star Wars fans would have loved this experience and the merchandise.
Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser officially opens to guests this Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

One of the things we were most curious about on the ship was the food (duh!). We were able to try every single thing offered on the ship, and have brought you full reviews of breakfast, lunch, dinner, the snacks, and the lounge! While dining on this space food, we discovered an item that was surprisingly familiar…something unexpected, but very welcome while traveling around the galaxy.
There are CHEESEBURGER PODS in SPACE, you guys! This is not a drill — cheeseburger pods are now canon in the Star Wars universe, according to Disney.
CHEESEBURGER PODS?! IS THAT YOU?!
During dinner on the ship, the kids menu has a variety of options from Cheese Pizza to Tip Yip Chicken Chunks, but they also have Chedd-Cheesy Beef Spiral Dumplings and Crispy Sliced Waffle Fries (that’s a mouthful, huh!). These might sound strange, but they are super similar to the cheeseburger pods we know and love from Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom.
Cheeseburger Pods at Satu’li Canteen
However, these actually seemed to have a bit MORE cheese, which is the one thing we sometimes think the ones at Satu’li could improve on. Comparing the two, the ones on the Galactic Starcruiser have some browning on top of the pods while the Satu’li ones do not.
Delish!
But, the inside of both pods look pretty similar!
A peek inside the Satu’li Canteen cheeseburger pods
And, the waffle fries that come with the pods on the Galactic Starcruiser are like giant fried chunks of potatoes, which aren’t anything extraordinary, but fried potatoes are fried potatoes, so it’s hard to go wrong.
Giant potatoes
If you love the cheeseburger pods over at Satu’li, or just cheeseburgers in general, you should give these a try if you have an upcoming trip on the Starcruiser. They’re available on the kids dinner menu for both night 1 and night 2. You can add them on to your meal, or sneak a bite of your kids’ when they’re not looking.

The Chandrila Collection, the onboard shop on the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, will reportedly have a measly two-per-cabin limit on items like droids and the exclusive lightsaber.
Signs found in videos of The Chandrila Collection posted by media preview attendees revealed the two-per-cabin merchandise limit on some items like the Halcyon-exclusive Legacy lightsaber and droids, among others. The limit stands no matter how many guests are staying in your cabin, meaning a cabin of four could still only purchase two of a certain item during their voyage aboard the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.
Will you be buying some of the exclusive items available on board when the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser launches March 1? Let us know in the comments below.
