Progress continues on the roof of Connections Café and Eatery, the new restaurant next to Creations Shop at EPCOT, which has been coming together quickly since it was announced last November. Exterior work has mainly been focused on the side facing Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind.

The front of the building has been completely painted, though scaffolding remains on the wall closest to Spaceship Earth. We also noticed that the column next to that scaffolding had a new steel structure atop it.

We could see the steel better from the ground. It seems like it is going to be an extension of the column.

Roof work at Connections Café and Eatery has been ongoing but difficult to see for several months.

The column and everything past it wrapping around towards Cosmic Rewind have yet to be completely repainted to the new cream color.

The paneling atop the column is torn where the steel has been added.

We may see the old paneling be replaced.

This column is right next to Guest Relations, which remains open during construction.

Through the windows of Connections Café, we could see colorful lights.

There are strips of teal green lights on the ceiling and some blue lights along the walls.

Some windows remain covered by tarps.

Crew members continue to work on the corner of the building that was recently rounded off.

In the breezeway next to Creations Shop, we could see more lights on.

There are blue, green, and orange lights inside the café.

MagicBand designs for “Encanto” are now available in MaDe kiosks at Walt Disney World. The kiosks also have MagicBand and phone case designs for the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend. These designs can be personalized for $5 extra.

MagicBands – $24.99 each

The “Encanto” characters featured on MagicBands are Isabela, Mirabel, Luisa, and Bruno.

The designs are all pictured on grey MagicBands, but guests can choose different colors.

The character is on the solid side of the band. The dotted side can have personalization or a design related to the character. Isabela’s band features pink, purple, white, and yellow flowers.

Mirabel’s band features the embroidery from her outfit, including flowers and a pink butterfly.

Luisa’s band has a blue dumbbell surrounded by flowers.

Bruno’s band has the pattern of green hourglasses from his ruana.

The Disney Princess Half Marathon MagicBands have the name of the weekend and year. This one features Moana for the 19.3 mile Fairy Tale challenge. The other end of the band shows the silhouette of her boat.

This band features Cinderella (representing the 5k) and her castle.

This one shows Tiana and her restaurant.

And this one features Mulan for 13.1 miles. The dotted end is blank if no personalization is added.

Phone Cases – $29.99

Most of the phone cases feature matching designs to the MagicBands, but there is a more general phone case design that says, “My favorite Disney Princess wears running shoes.” Cinderella Castle is silhouetted in the background.

The Moana design says “Finisher” and is on a blue background. Personalization adds your name to the bottom of the design.

Tiana’s also says “Finisher” in purple against a green background.

Mulan’s case says, “I did it!” against a pink background.

The Cinderella case is red with “Finisher” in blue.

Finally, there’s a blue case featuring Mulan, Tiana, and Cinderella running.
