The Walt Disney World versus Disneyland debate has raged among fans for years, with each swearing allegiance to their “home park” and declaring it superior. As the phased reopening continues in California and Florida, normalcy slowly returns, and pent-up demand fuels crowds and price increases, we thought it’d be worth taking a fresh look at […]
Disney has a legacy of support and admiration for military and veteran families. One of the ways we salute those who serve in uniform is our ongoing teamwork with Blue Star Families – a nonprofit for and by military families – to provide support to their Blue Star Books program that encourages reading among military children.
The crowds have descended upon Walt Disney World and the wait times are pretty intense. Would you be willing to endure these long wait times for your favorite attractions? Parks at Full Capacity Since the phased reopening of the theme parks, park reservations are required for all four theme parks. Last week we shared that the Walt […]
Walt Disney Imagineering has finished installing a Rapunzel figure on the stern of the Disney Wish cruise ship.
Walt Disney Imagineering shared photos and videos of Rapunzel on Instagram.
“Recently, our WDI team in Germany completed a very exciting milestone – the installation of Rapunzel onto the stern of the #DisneyWish! The entire figure is over 30 feet wide, with Rapunzel herself being 9 feet tall – big enough to wear a US women’s sized 22 shoe! After two years of design and fabrication work with a team spread across 3 different time zones, we are all so thrilled to see Rapunzel adorning the stern of the ship where she and her side kick, Pascal, will welcome our Guests for many years to come! We can’t wait for the world to see her!”

A new Haunted Mansion Candle has joined the happy haunts at Disneyland Resort. We found it, along with several other new candles, at World of Disney in Downtown Disney District.
Haunted Mansion Candle – $34.99
The candle holder is made to resemble a circle of graves from the classic attraction, with a green lid.
Madame Leota’s headstone is on one side.
Another headstone reads, “RIP Mister Sewell the victim of a dirty duel.”
A third reads, “Here lies good old Fred, a great big rock fell on his head.”
The Haunted Mansion logo is also on the lid.
The scent is “Happy Haunts,” and it smelled pretty generic to us. It wasn’t very strong.
Will you be decorating your home with this candle? Let us know in the comments.
