It Just Got EASIER to Talk to TWO Fan-Favorite Disney World Characters!

We’ve been WAITING for this, and we’re so happy that our Disney character dreams are finally coming true! Sure, it was fun to see some Disney friends out and about in some different locations, but a construction wall just doesn’t make a very good backdrop.

Nice to see ya, Olaf!

It seems like Disney FINALLY told the guards to open up the gates, because, for the first time in forever, we can meet all of our Frozen friends in their old meet and greet locations! Love really IS an open door! (Okay, okay, we’ll stop)

For a long time, Queen Anna and Queen Elsa visited guests outside in the Norway pavilion. We loved meeting them, but they were kind of far away. You practically needed a pair of binoculars just to see them! Anna, is that you way off in the distance? We’re kidding of course, but you get the point — the setup wasn’t ideal for interacting.

Anna and Elsa’s previous meeting spot

Luckily, the Royal Sommerhus is open again, and Anna and Elsa are meeting guests inside! When we visited, the wait time was only 15 minutes (even on a holiday weekend!).

The wait time was only 15 minutes!

First, we said hello to Anna! Of course, we chatted about a mutual interest — FOOD!

We took a fun socially-distanced photo, too!

Hey, Anna!

Then it was time to say hello to Queen Elsa, who was dressed in her stunning white cape!

It’s much easier to have a personal conversation with the characters in this location, and the photos turn out great, too!

Hello, Elsa!

You can check the My Disney Experience app for the most accurate wait times! The line (usually) isn’t too bad; especially compared to the Frozen Ever After attraction right next door!

For the first time in forever, they’re back inside!

It warms our hearts to see the Disney characters returning to their old meet and greet locations! In the meantime, stay tuned for all the latest Disney news and park updates!

New Peter Pan, Ariel, and Eeyore Mugs Arrive at Disney Springs

Look at this stuff, isn’t it neat? Fly on over to World of Disney at Disney Springs if you want to add to your Disney mug collection.

Peter Pan Mug – $14.99

This mug is white and green with Peter, Wendy, Tink, John, and Michael flying among golden stars.

On the other side of the mug, it says, “Second star to the right and straight on till morning” in green letter.

The handle and the inside of the mug are green.

This mug is also available to purchase on shopDisney.

Ariel Mug and Spoon Set – $19.99

You want thingamabobs? This mug and spoon can be your twenty-first.

This beautiful mug is purple with an illustration of Ariel and her bright red hair.

She’s using a bubble as a magnifying glass.

On the mug is a pattern of seashells and Ariel’s collection of thingamabobs.

The spoon is gold and the top is in the shape of a seashell.

The handle is also in gold.

On the other side of the mug is another illustration of Ariel holding her hair. Next to her head is a chat bubble that says “Never enough thinga-mabobs.” You can also purchase this mug on shopDisney.

Eeyore Mug and Spoon Set – $19.99

And the third mug we found is in the shape of a tree with Eeyore holding it.

On the other side of the mug are three bees with “hunny” coming out of the tree.

Unfortunately for Eeyore, all of the spoons we found here were broken. But it is a blue spoon with a rainbow at the top. You can purchase him good as new on shopDisney.

Which mug do you like the best? Let us know in the comments!

Yay Or Nay? What Do YOU Think About Disney World NEW Floral Ears?

When it comes to Minnie Ears, we’ve seen it all.

Green Minnie Ears!

The good, the bad, and the waffle scented. Minnie Ears are such a popular park accessory that Disney has tried to make a pair of ears for everyone. Sometimes, we get amazing ears that make us abandon all responsible money habits, and sometimes we simply do not understand the hype.

We spotted these ears over in the Emporium in Magic Kingdom today, and we were a bit confused. Normally, we can tell when something was made by Disney, but these ears were giving us major DIY vibes.

New Floral Minnie Ears

These floral ears look like something we could have made at home, or like the homemade ears we’ve seen on Etsy. If the flowers were red, we probably would have thought that these were Christmas wreath ears! These are pretty cute for flower fans, especially with Spring just around the corner!

New Ears

At first, we thought these ears could be for the upcoming EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival, but there was nothing in the store or on the ears to indicate that!

Floral Ears

So what do you think? Yay or nay? If you need to add some flower-crown-realness to your Disney World fit, then you can get these over at the Emporium and grab these for $29.99. We’re always staying up to date on all the latest in all things Disney, so stay tuned to DFB for more!

PHOTOS: See the Lines Just to EAT When Disney World is At Capacity

All four Disney parks reached capacity this President’s Day weekend, which means one thing: crowds, crowds, and more crowds. Basically what we’re telling you is this: be prepared to wait if you’re planning to be in the parks on a holiday weekend.

NO THANK YOU

You probably know to expect long lines for Disney’s popular attractions pretty much all year, but during President’s Day weekend, we even saw long lines for FOOD. *cries in hunger* Seriously, even a few scoops of popcorn will cost you a good 10 minutes (at least) in line. Don’t believe us? We’ll show you!

Storybook Circus is usually a pretty quiet little area in the Magic Kingdom. Yes, there are two fun little attractions (and maybe even a character or two!), but compared to somewhere like Frontierland, we don’t usually see THIS many people over here. This was the line just for popcorn!

Just for popcorn?!

Even Gaston’s Tavern was unusually busy!

This restaurant isn’t typically this crowded!

Magic Kingdom wasn’t the only park with long lines for food, though! Over in the EPCOT World Showcase, the France pavilion was FILLED with people! The line for the Festival of the Arts food booth wrapped all around the pavilion.

There are even lines for food these days!

If you thought that food booth line was bad, avert your eyes! The line for Disney’s new quick-service restaurant, Crêpes À Emporter at La Crêperie de Paris, looped around itself THREE times!

This line was SUPER long!

You better be DEDICATED to the idea of wanting sushi to wait in this line over in the Japan pavilion. No thank you, Disney!

You’ll need your patient pants

The deeper into the World Showcase we went, the more lines we found. The Italy pavilion had a pretty long line, as you may have guessed.

More lines!

At least all that waiting pays off with some tasty snacks! And if you follow along with our food reviews, you know exactly what to order. 😉

Yikes!

Bring an extra serving of patience to the parks this weekend, and best of luck! Fingers crossed these crowds die down a little as the week progresses.

Good luck trying to find a place to eat!

We’re always on the lookout for the latest Disney news, so stay tuned for more!

Disney Genie+ No Longer Available in Advance for One-Day Tickets at Walt Disney World

Disney Genie+ will no longer be available to purchase in advance for guests who are looking to purchase one-day tickets at Walt Disney World.

Genie+, the newest paid “Fastpass” system at Disney Parks, has had its fair share of controversy among guests. Now, guests who only want to go to Walt Disney World for one day won’t be able to book Genie+ in advance.

Genie+ currently costs $15 per guest per day at Walt Disney World. If you are looking to purchase a one-day theme park ticket to Walt Disney World and utilize Genie+, Genie+ must be purchased through the My Disney Experience app on the day of your visit. Multi-day tickets, however, can still have Genie+ added on in advance.

Check out our full guide here on how to use Genie+.

How do you feel about this change? Do you ever purchase one-day tickets to Walt Disney World?
