Props from the 2021 Holiday Tribute Store have been moved into the Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
We immediately recognized this giant nutcracker and the shelves around him from the Tribute Store.
He’s surrounded by wooden and vintage-style toys.
There’s a wooden castle, cars, and a dinosaur.
A white rocking horse and teddy bear drum are on the shelves.
We also recognized Santa’s naughty and nice list book.
Behind the nutcracker is the workshop schedule chalkboard.
This is covered in notes from Santa’s elves about different toys.
Earl the Squirrel makes a cameo on this barrel labeled “Earl’s.”
Make sure to visit the Port of Entry Christmas Shoppe for a trip down memory lane on your next Universal’s Islands of Adventure day.

The new bags feature all-around print of different moments throughout “Steamboat Willie”, like Mickey playing “Turkey in the Straw” on various implements, the steamboat itself chugging down the river, and helping Minnie get on the boat with the ship’s crane.
This new collection will release on February 21 on shopDisney and presumably at Walt Disney World as well, so be sure to keep your eyes out for this new line of Dooney & Bourke bags!

“We’ve been careful to maintain the sensitivity about who is rich and who is shameless,” showrunner and producer of Rich & Shameless Tom Lindley said at a TCA press conference to promote the new TNT docuseries. “Shameless behavior could be by rich people or it could be by people who wanted to be rich. And I think it’s not […]

Springtime’s almost here at Tokyo Disney Resort, and there’s so much to celebrate the season as its first real seasonal event since 2020 approaches, with special plans for food, merchandise, decor, and entertainment have been announced! Let’s take a look at everything planned for springtime at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea from April 1 to June 30.
Tokyo Disneyland
As we first revealed last month, Tokyo Disneyland will once again host the wacky “Usatama on the Run” parade. This goofy parade features Mickey and the Disney friends as they try to rally up the Usatamas, eggs with bunny ears who love to wreak havoc around the park. Mickey and plenty of Disney characters have become “Usatama Chasers, whose goal is to catch the miscreant egg-bunnies before they destroy the park!
The parade will be presented once daily with all seven of its original floats, but in an otherwise altered form to prevent the spread of COVID-19, with no show stop and new costumes for Mickey and Minnie.
Merchandise will also be available starting March 31 with new art featuring Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Pluto enjoying their time around the resort together.
The massive 9-piece Little Green Man mochi will be offered again at Pan Galactic Pizza Port for the first time since 2020 to commemorate.
Tokyo DisneySea
To celebrate springtime, one of the passages in Mediterranean Harbor will be covered in new springtime decor featuring flowers strung around buildings, flower pots, and new decals on the walls.
Merchandise will also be available themed to some of the smaller Disney friends like Chip ‘n’ Dale starting March 31.
Just like at Tokyo Disneyland, new food to commemorate the spring season will be added as part of the Seasonal Taste Selections offering during the Tokyo DisneySea 20th Anniversary “Time to Shine!” event. You can see full details on everything new here on WDWNT.
Disney Resort Line
And as always, Tokyo Disney Resort will offer a special commemorative Disney Resort Line free pass for one to four days at all four stations.
Are you excited for springtime at Tokyo Disney Resort? Let us know in the comments below!
Are you considering or planning a visit to Tokyo Disney Resort? Visit TDRPlans for every detail (and more) that you’ll need to make your trip the best it can be! Did I mention it’s 100% free?

Disney announced that the children’s water play area at the Copper Creek Pool will be closed for refurbishment through early March 2022. The main Copper Creek Springs Pool and Boulder Ridge Pool will remain open.
That said, we like to keep our readers informed on all of Disney’s construction projects — there’s nothing worse than feeling blindsided by a closure in the parks and resorts. In the meantime, stay tuned for all the latest Disney news and park updates!

The most experienced Disney World vacationers know a few tricks that help them avoid being blindsided while they’re in the parks.
EPCOT
One of the best precautions you can take before your vacation is to check out which rides, attractions, and hotels are going to be CLOSED during your trip. If you do that little bit of checking before your trip, you won’t run the risk of rushing to your favorite ride, only to find out it’s closed for a month-long refurbishment. To help you out, we’ve made a list of everything that’s going to be closed in Disney World next week!
That means there’s just one Magic Kingdom attraction that’s scheduled to be closed next week.
Walt Disney World Railroad
The Walt Disney World Railroadis still closed, and it doesn’t have a reopening date right now.
Walt Disney World Railroad is closed
We did see some testing for this attraction a while ago, with the train spotted running in Magic Kingdom! But this testing appears to be more focused on just keeping the train’s engine in good order and not actually a sign of its reopening.
We don’t know when TRON is going to be finished with its construction, but we expect the railroad will likely remain closed until at least more of that construction is complete.
This attraction is scheduled to be closed through mid-April 2022. So far, Disney’s calendar shows it as closed for refurbishment through April 29th at least, but that could change as the calendar gets updated.
Finding Nemo: The Musical
Finding Nemo: The Musical is also closed in Animal Kingdom. Recently, signage for this musical has been covered up in Animal Kingdom.
Finding Nemo: The Musical is getting some changes!
The new Finding Nemo musical is based on the timeline of Finding Dory, and some of the songs from the original show will carry over into the new version. Disney has confirmed that “Go With the Flow” is among the songs that will stay.
This show does not have a reopening date yet, but we’re watching for an announcement from Disney about its return. We’ll be sure to let you know as soon as we hear anything!
Souk-Al-Magreb is still closed in EPCOT’s World Showcase. This gift shop is in the Morocco pavilion, and it’s been closed for a long time.
Still closed!
This shop is scheduled to be closed through mid-April at least (it’s on the refurbishment calendar through April 23rd for now though that could change), but Disney hasn’t announced an official reopening timeline for it. A Cast Member recently told us that they don’t know when the store could reopen.
During this closure, other pools at Saratoga Springs — including the High Rock Spring Pool and the Paddock Pool — will still be open and available to guests.
Guests at the Animal Kingdom Villas – Kidani Village can visit the Jambo House area to use the Uzima Springs Pool instead.
Uzima Springs Pool
The Flippin’ Fins Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort (in the Little Mermaid section) is also unavailable, and it will remain closed through late February of this year. We don’t have an exact reopening date for this pool yet.
Flippin’ Fins Pool
If you’re staying at this hotel, you can use the Big Blue Pool (in the Finding Nemo section) or the Cozy Cone Pool (in the Cars section), which have both remained open. Note that the Schoolyard Splashground near the Big Blue pool is closed aswell, and it is expected to reopen in mid-March.
