Splash Mountain at Magic Kingdom is currently closed for a regular refurbishment. We took a look at the ride today and saw that the log ride vehicles were being run to test the attraction.
The logs were cycling through the exterior portion of the water.
We saw water back on the drop and logs being tested there.
All of the briars sticking out of the water look freshly painted brown and green.
Some of the leaves in the briar patch didn’t look as bright.
Up where scaffolding climbs the mountain, we saw crew members.
Some of the mountain appears to be repainted. The bottom portion looks like a more rich brown, while the top is a faded reddish-brown.
Splash Mountain is scheduled to reopen this weekend.
