Magic Key holders can currently pick up a special “Turning Red”-inspired Lunar New Year gift at Disney California Adventure.
Disneyland announced the gift on Instagram with a photo of Rosalie Chiang, who voices Meilin Lee in “Turning Red.” The gift is available while supplies last under the Silly Symphony Swings.
There are signs directing guests to the pick-up locations. Be ready to present your Magic Key pass.
In addition to the “Turning Red” gift, there is also a button featuring Rajah from “Aladdin” with artwork by Ann Shen.
Cast Members were distributing the items at this table.
The “Turning Red” gift is a red envelope containing, well, more red envelopes. The front has the “Turning Red” logo above the Toronto skyline.
Inside, it says that Pixar donated to EBAYC in honor of Lunar New Year. EBAYC, which stands for the East Bay Asian Youth Center, “envisions a future where all young people grow up to be lifelong builders of a just and compassionate multicultural society.”
Each red envelope inside features a different character or group of characters from “Turning Red,” which hits Disney+ next month.
The characters are pictured in yellow-gold with an intricate red paper frame around them.
Red envelopes are traditionally used to give money on holidays and special occasions.
